(Question)
In some countries, teenagers have jobs while they are still students. Do
you think this is a good idea? Support your opinion by using specific
reasons and details.

(my answer)
Some say students should concentrate on studying, while others insist that working must help students to have broad outlooks on society. In my opinion, the latter one is true for the following reasons. Firstly, students can learn what is needed in society from working. Secondly, it helps them to have a wide range of network. This essay will discuss these reasons in further detail.

One of the positive aspects of job is that students can learn the society where they live. Through the experience of job, students are able to study how to attract their customers, how the society works, what they should do for promoting the friendship with colleagues, and so on. For example, when I was a high school student, I worked for the supermarket store. I admitted that it prevented me from studying every time, but it enabled me to gain various lessons. Especially, what would be the most beneficial for me of them was that I got down to the advertisement project. I was wondering with my colleague about what was the most effective advertisement, and at last we distributed flyers in front of the station. When it worked and sales of the supermarket store increased, not only was I very happy, but I also learned how to take attention of consumers.

Another advantage of working when being student is that students can have many friends which consist of various generations. While students are young, they tend to have a narrow view, so they occasionally need someone who are older than them and can advise them. When I was a part-time job worker at the supermarket store, I often consulted with the senior clerks about my worry. For instance, when I was worried about which major I would take in the university, I was able to listen to the experience of the senior clerks. My classmates and teacher also advised me, but it was a little limited information for me. Therefore, thanks to my network of the job, I was able to decide my major without regret.

In conclusion, I think teenager students not only should concentrate on studying, but they also should have jobs because they can learn the technique which is important even after they are graduated from their school. Furthermore, they can have many kinds of friends who are reliable for them. Of course, I have to say that what is the most important for students is studying. However, when I have a child someday, I will strongly recommend him or her to have a job while he or she is a student.
